‘Egg-cellent’ Easter garnish ideas for your bar
Easter is the perfect excuse to get a little playful with your garnishes. Whether you’re going all-in on sweet treats or keeping things fresh, a creative finish makes a cocktail stand out. Here are five easy ways to give your serves an Easter glow-up.
1. Carrot ribbons
Shaved carrot might not be the first garnish that springs to mind, but it’s an easy way to add a fresh look to gin serves, spritzes, or anything botanical. Roll them into spirals for a bit of extra flair, or candy them for a subtle sweet crunch.
2. Bunny shaped citrus peel
Give your garnishes a bit of character by cutting orange or lemon peel into little bunny ears. Pop them on top of a Sour or Old Fashioned for a fun, aromatic twist that keeps things classy while still nodding to the season.
3. Edible flowers
Easter and spring go hand in hand, so edible flowers are an easy win. Pansies, violets, and chamomile flowers bring a seasonal pop of colour and a delicate finish to lighter cocktails served over ice.
4. Chocolate egg skewers
A classic for a reason. Thread a few mini eggs onto a cocktail pick and balance them on the rim of the glass. They work particularly well with creamy serves, think Espresso Martinis or White Russian, but there’s no harm in adding a chocolatey touch to fruitier drinks too.
5. Chocolate shavings
A quick but effective way to dress up cocktails. Grate white chocolate over creamy or fruit forward serves for a subtle sweetness and a seasonal finish. Works particularly well on Piña Coladas. (Why not take a look at our Pineapple & Coconut Blend, it makes an epic Piña Colada if we do say so ourselves)
Whether you’re going full Easter spectacle or keeping it simple with a subtle nod to the season, a good garnish makes all the difference. And if you’re using our Cocktail Blends, the hard part is already sorted, all that’s left is to get creative with the finishing touch.
